The Climb…

Mountain Cloud
The Climb…

Do you ever feel like you’re climbing your personal mountain and then all of a sudden you can’t see where you’re going?  It can be a struggle just to do the climb but when you get to a point where everything seems to have disappeared… your purpose seems to have left you and you don’t know where to turn.

In this scenario, your “personal mountain” can mean many things.  One meaning, in particular, is change.  As I was driving in to work this morning I was thinking about all the change going on in my life.  The struggles I am facing and then I looked over at the mountain I live near and the above picture is what I saw.  Beautiful Mt Elden with a cloud covering a part of it then the top appearing through the clouds.  This, to me, represents visually what we go through.  We are going through change with the feeling that “yes, I can handle this” and then all of a sudden you are stuck in a fog with no signs and you can’t see where you are going.  It can be scary and it can make you feel like giving up or that you are totally lost.  Clouds always dissipate and so will the fog you are in.  You will reach the top… it’s just beyond the clouds.  So now is a time to sit and wait for the clouds to dissipate.  Just let it be.

The Divine provides us with these “forced” break times so that changes can be made to our circumstances.  The Divine never gives us more than we can handle but we are pushed little by little to handle more and more.  It is important that we go through these changes so that we can grow.  If there are no new challenges… we cannot grow.  So during this time, welcome the break with open arms as the Divine is working in our best interest.

Brightest Blessings,
The Oracle Empath
