Find a comfortable position without laying down.

Once in that position, close your eyes and begin focusing on your breathing.

Slowly breath in… and notice the presence of your feet and your toes.

Slowly breath out… and notice the tension within your feet and toes release.

Slowly breath in… and notice the presence of your hips, buttocks, hands and wrists.

Slowly breath out… and notice the tension in your hips, buttocks, hands and wrists release.

Slowly breath in… and notice the presence of your neck and shoulders.

Slowly breath out… and notice the tension in your neck and shoulders release.

Slowly breath in… notice your brow and your eyes.

Slowly breath out… and notice the tension in your brow and your eyes release.

Now that your body is relaxed…

Focus on your feet.

Feel tiny roots come out of the bottoms of your feet reaching down into the earth.

Allow your roots to dig down into the earth until you feel securely stable within the earth.

Now allow the earths energy to travel up the roots and into your feet while the roots stay secure and safe within the earth…

Let the energy travel upwards into your legs… then continuing to your hips… up your spine and back… into your chest…

Allow this energy to embrace your heart and as it does so you feel an overwhelming sense of love and security…

Once you have a good hold on that area allow the energy to flow upwards further into your neck and shoulders… then down into your arms all the way to your fingertips.

Now the energy flows up your neck into your head.

Allow this energy to embrace your thoughts… only letting positive thoughts occur.

Allow these thoughts blossom into a beautiful tree with many branches wrapping you into a hug.

Relax into this hug and let it envelope you in a loving embrace.

Now, as you feel yourself come back to awareness, release some of the energy back into the earth keeping just what you need.

As the energy leaves the bottoms of your feet, let your roots loosen their hold on the earth but just enough for you to move around freely not feeling too heavy.

Open your eyes when you are ready.
